Repost for the weekday crowd.

My friends and I have made it a tradition to go to Formula D every year. If you like cars, its almost impossible not to enjoy yourself there. Sure, not everything I see is what I'd describe as "tasteful," but I like seeing cars drive on and over the limit and I enjoy the crazyness of the whole thing. It may not be high brow, but it is motorsports and all it's really trying to do is show you a good time.

Haha, actually, i was standing when i was filming. There are bleachers further back that you can actually see quite well from, but sometimes you just gotta get up into the action.

There was a lot of "ruined by stance" there. But hey, if the owner likes it, i guess that's all that matters. Regardless, I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Forester front.

I wish I had known this was going on. I am not a fan of drifting, but, I would have liked to check it out. Maybe drifting could have been like AC/DC for me. I hated them until I saw them live.

About 40 minutes outside of Seattle, Northeast in Monroe. That means that if you live in the general Seattle/Eastside area you have no excuse!!

Hehe, try and show up next year, they were talking about how they just signed an agreement for 3 more years or something at Evergreen Speedway. I think this is something like my 5th year now and it never disappoints. It seems to get bigger and better every year.

Oh, that makes a lot more sense. Yeah, it's north of Seattle so that could be hard. Still...it could be worth it, especially if you have like minded friends. The "oh no, i just realized i'm grinning like an idiot" count gets surprisingly high over the course of the day....

The fact that they didn't make it LHD and sold it in the US/Europe is a crime against humanity.

I saw an S15 once and was hooked. It's everything an affordable sportscar needs to be.
